Jacira is an Angolan actress and singer based in Los Angeles, whose multicultural upbringing—between Angola, the UK, and the United States—has deeply influenced her artistic sensibility. With a passion for storytelling rooted in her early years, she has always used performance art to connect, express, and inspire.

She began her professional acting career in 2016 with a musical theater debut at New York’s renowned La MaMa Theatre. After a period focused on developing her music, she returned to acting in 2018, making her television debut in the popular Portuguese telenovela Alma e Coração, penned by International Emmy Award-winner Pedro Lopes.

Continuing to expand her creative horizons, Jacira will soon make her film debut in the upcoming short The Love of Jupiter.​
